FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Clear answers before you instruct.

A single point of contact for scoped property, infrastructure, finance-document and legal operations support.

What services do you provide?

Non-reserved property-information, lease and asset administration, source-backed evidence registers, transaction/data-room coordination, infrastructure site records, legal/project operations, process training and document/data QA. See services and defined-scope entry reviews.

What does the £350 readiness review include?

One 45-minute online discussion, high-level non-confidential inputs, a two-page operational issue note with three prioritised next steps and brief clarification. Target three working days after the call and complete information. No matter-file upload or legal/technical opinion.

What if I need title, defective-title or indemnity support?

We can inventory documents, log missing evidence and organise questions for the client's authorised solicitor or insurance broker. We do not independently judge title sufficiency, recommend or arrange title indemnity insurance, prepare reserved instruments or give a lender legal opinion.

Can you work with regulated firms or sensitive matters?

Potentially, under a separate accepted scope and risk assessment. The client remains responsible for regulatory obligations, legal signoff and professional decisions. Applicable data protection, security arrangements, professional oversight and contractual terms must be established before confidential processing.

Do you act as a solicitor or a licensed conveyancer?

No. Daniel Stewart is an experienced non-admitted property legal professional. The independent business is not presented as an SRA-regulated law firm, an authorised conveyancer or an insurer.

Who may commission work?

Business and professional buyers able to confirm their authority and the purpose of the engagement. The introductory site is B2B; consumer legal representation is not offered.

Will you sign our supplier terms and data-processing agreement?

Reasonable buyer terms and security questionnaires can be assessed. If processing personal data on the customer's instructions, an appropriate UK GDPR Article 28 contract and processing schedule are required. No undocumented subprocessing or unrestricted confidential-data transfer is assumed.

How do we send documents?

For the entry readiness review, do not send confidential documents. For larger accepted assignments, a client-approved private environment and written instructions are required. The proprietary client upload facility is not yet released for live customer data.

How are fees paid?

By bank transfer against an invoice issued in the sole trader's legal/trading identity. Bank details are supplied privately on the invoice and should be independently verified if changed. Do not pay a personal third party, through another business or through a website payment widget.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

The actual quote will state the VAT treatment accurately. The website does not assert VAT registration. No VAT is added unless legitimately chargeable.

When is the work booked?

Only after the correct party, scope, price, timing, acceptance and relevant security/insurance decisions are documented. An enquiry or draft quotation is not itself an engagement.

Can you provide examples or references?

Synthetic demonstration outputs and anonymised descriptions of previous-role experience may be provided. These are not fabricated paid assignments. Named former-client references or confidential work are not published without proper authority.

Do you hold ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials certification?

No certification is currently claimed. The practice has adopted an internal control-mapping and evidence programme. A client may review the available controls, limitations and actual assurance records before agreeing a relevant mandate.

How are complaints or corrections handled?

Report concerns promptly to Daniel@danielstewartprofessionalservices.uk. They will be logged, acknowledged, investigated and either corrected within the agreed scope or escalated through the contracted dispute process. A confidentiality or data incident is handled under the relevant incident procedure.
